North Stradbroke Island Tour

We travel through the “Redlands” to Cleveland viewing kangaroos on the way to board the ferry to Dunwich on North Stradbroke Island. Enjoy the 45 min cruise across Moreton Bay looking for marine life and enjoy the beautiful calm waters. Once on the island we stop at Myora Springs Freshwater Creek which runs all year around and also where Aboriginal owners used to use as their permanent source of fresh water. On to Flinders Beach and Amity Point Wharf before visiting Point Lookout and North Stradbroke Gorge sighting sea turtles, manta rays and possibly whales  between June and October. After exploring this beautiful island we head back to catch the ferry to the mainland stopping at Brown Lake (sacred site) on the way.
